In accordance with the legal authority granted by the State Records Committee (WS 9-2-412). The following personally identifiable information/records have met the retention requirements and are eligible for destruction:
Special Education Records for:
AR# 97-124 students now over 21 years of age (U.S.C.F.R. 300.573);
AR# 97-123 students who have moved out of Carbon County School District One prior to the last three years;
AR# 97-125 students who have been dismissed and/or have not received services prior to the last five years (U.S.C.F.R. 300.573);
Student (over 21 years of age), Parent(s) and/or guardian(s), if you wish to claim the above named files, please do so in writing or files will be destroyed as of September 15, 2016. Please send written request to:

Please note that Pupil’s Permanent Record, Cumulative Record and/or Superintendent’s Record Cards will remain as permanent records in the school district or transferred to State Archives after graduation or age 22, or microfilmed and destroyed AR# 97-122 (Supersedes AR-1 #8808).
