INVITATION TO BID
Two (2) NEW 2017 4 Wheel Drive ¾ Ton Full Size Pick-Up Trucks for the Rawlins Municipal Landfill and Recycling Division with no associated trade.
THE CITY OF RAWLINS will receive sealed bids (NO FAXED OR EMAILED BIDS) in the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, P.O. Box 953, 521 W. Cedar Street Rawlins, WY 82301, until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at which time bids will be publically opened. No bids will be considered which are received after the scheduled time. All bids will be on separate forms and in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the name of the project “Public Works Pick-Up Trucks” in the lower left hand corner. There shall be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the Public Works Conference Room located at 915 3rd Street in Rawlins.
Bidding documents including but not limited to bid specifications are available from the City Clerk’s Office at the address shown above, by calling 307-328-4500, or by downloading them from the Rawlins website at www.rawlins-wyoming.com. Bidders must use the City of Rawlins Bid Form. All questions should be addressed to LeRoy Lucero at 307-328-4599.
The “General Provisions”, “Bid Form”, “Invitation to Bid” and Wyoming Statute §15-1-113 are by reference made a part of the bidding documents and invitation to bid. The City of Rawlins reserves the right to accept deviations from the specifications and to waive any and all formalities or technicalities in the bidding in the sole discretion of the City. The City reserves the right to reject all bids or accept any bid, which in its sole and absolute judgment, shall under all circumstances, best serve the City’s interests.
This project requires a five percent (5%) bid security. The City may require up to forty five (45) days after the opening of the bids for acceptance of the winning bid.
Pursuant to W.S. §16-6-106 preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.
