Lois Payton

Lois Louise Payton, born on March 29th, 1954 in Palmer, Territory of Alaska, died June 19th, 2016 in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. at the age of 62.

Lois was a former resident of Rawlins, where she did her student teaching.

She graduated from Rock Springs High in Rock Springs. Lois attended the University Of Wyoming where she graduated with two degrees in Art and Education.

A certified Master Teacher, Lois brought her skill and expertise to her career, teaching elementary classes for a total of 30 years in Wyoming, Kansas, and California.

She brought her artistic abilities to the classroom as well as her home life. Her hobbies included reading, painting, and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Wilson of Victorville, Calif.; mother, Ethel Payton of Anchorage, Alaska; brother, Scott Payton of Kansas City, Mo.; and aunt, Lila Payton; and cousin, Jane Payton Boykin of Encampment.
