Did the suspect indeed steal the lunch?

A standard operating procedure, any witnesses called to the stand must swear to tell the truth. Here, during a mock trial held on Friday in Carbon County District Court, clerk Mara Sanger, background, makes Rawlins Elementary School witness Mattie Sanchez raise her right hand and swear not to tell any fibs. During questioning, Sanchez said, “I know he had peanut butter on his mouth,” which was in regards to whether the suspect in question stole and ate a lunch.
