Meet Your Neighbor

Meet your neighbor Ashlee James, a Rawlins resident since January. James moved to Rawlins after finishing her Masters in Museum Studies, taking up a position as the Carbon County Museum’s registrar. James said she had always wanted to work in museums, but did not want to live in New York or California. “Museums are a great way to share history,” said James. James further said of her career choice, “I don’t have to do the same thing every day.” James said of her move to Rawlins from Indianapolis, Ind., “It’s been an adjustment, the fact that the nearest mall is two hours away, it’s a good thing I have an Amazon Prime subscription!” If you see your neighbor Ashlee James, say hi!
