CARBON COUNTY — A chilly and snowy weekend in southeastern Wyoming has helped keep the Mullen Fire at bay.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the fire is at a 30% containment rate and has affected 176,047 acres. More containment came over the weekend after snow on Sunday helped keep the fire from gaining traction.
