Rawlins’ Kelley Jordan competes in one meter diving in Nov. 8’s swim and dive 3A Championships in Gillette.

GILLETTE – To conclude her senior season, Rawlins diver Jordan Kelley splashed into the pool Nov. 7-Nov. 8 at Campbell County High School to take a respectable sixth place state 3A finish.

Among the 12 total finalists in the 1-meter dive, Kelley’s 285.75 marked her final score of her high school career. Powell junior Emma Karhu took first in the event, at a score of 383.85.

Meanwhile, Rawlins 400-yard relay team, which was arguably their best event all season, ended the 2019 with 12-place overall finish. Equipped with Alyssa Arnold, Devon Martinez, Emily Porter and Kelley, they nabbed a time of 4:26.79.

Buffalo would go on to win the 400-yard relay, finishing with a time of 3:42.74.

As a team, Rawlins took 12th place. Lander won the 3A girls title.
