RAWLINS – Outlaws volleyball won its homecoming match 3-1 against long-time rival Douglas on Friday at Rawlins High School.
RAWLINS – Coming off an impressive season start with tourney wins against 4A schools Natrona County, Laramie and Central, Rawlins was eager to get back home to instrument their early confidence to their advantage.
HANNA — When Encampment High School Volleyball (0-2, 3-4) lost its two most prominent players headed into this season, questions arose of how the Lady Tigers would bounce back.
BAGGS — Little Snake River Valley High School Volleyball (0-0, 3-4) isn’t the team they once were in previous years, but they looked similar to the powerhouse they’ve been in the past in their first home game of the season.
GILLETTE — Every game matters, but no one could deny that a rematch between Rawlins (0-0,11-1) and Douglas (0-0,10-2) high schools’ volleyball teams wasn’t everything class 3A has been waiting for.

BAGGS — Jenny Evans never became a state champion as a player for Little Snake River Valley High School, but she has been a part of one with the Lady Rattlers.
SARATOGA — This year’s Saratoga Invitational was cut a day short, but the hosting team did enough to cause speculation that things may be a lot different in the class 1A Southwest Conference.
CHEYENNE — If you questioned how Rawlins High School Volleyball (0-0,6-0) would pan out under new leadership, the Lady Outlaws gave you their response this weekend.
RAWLINS — Sneakers are squeaking against the floor; young ladies are flying across the ground; and nothing sounds better than two stomps and a “wooh” echoed from the court to the bench and ending in the crowd.
CASPER — Carbon County is home to some of the best high school volleyball coaches, players and teams in the state and it’s been recognized by the Wyoming Coaches Association.
CASPER-A championship game usually results in tears and heartbreak by the loser, but No. 3 Encampment High School volleyball (4-4, 21-6) was nothing but smiles after taking No. 1 Cokeville (7-1, 25-10) to five sets in the 1A championship game Saturday.
CASPER-As great as an effort as No. 1 Rawlins High School volleyball (6-0, 28-8) made to play one last set, it wasn’t enough to bring a state championship back home.
CASPER-Playing for third place wasn’t what No. 2 Little Snake River Valley High School volleyball (7-1, 28-4) was hoping for, but the Rattlers’ were not leaving Casper without something to show for it.
CASPER — No. 3 Encampment volleyball (4-4, 21-5) is headed to the 1A state championship game after rolling over Dubois (6-2, 11-14) in the semi-finals.
