ENCAMPMENT – The Encampment boys basketball team is proving to 1A why they’re ranked No. 1 in the class. Friday the boys hosted the HEM Miners, and proved to be too much for the Miners to handle.

CARBON COUNTY — With January coming to a close, the five Carbon County schools have played some tough basketball. All together, the 10 squads (5 boys, 5 girls) have played 135 games.

HANNA – The HEM boys opened conference play Tuesday night against rival Rock River. The Miners were able to capitalize on the Longhorns’ youth and bury them almost right out the gate.

WHEATLAND – Rawlins basketball over the past couple weeks has proven to be a force to be reckoned with. Ever since the season started, in fact, they’ve comfortably maintained second place overall in the 3A Southeast Conference.

SARATOGA — The atmosphere was intense Thursday night in the full gymnasium they call “The Panther Den.” With the girls’ game being a close, hard-fought battle, the crowd was already full of energy heading into the boys’ game.
